Ok I've found a load of cheap nice hotels actually at nurburg or there abouts. When we have a final figure of who wants a hotel I can ring them and:

A) See if we will all fit in there
B)See if we can get a group discount.

Check em out

I would have originally opted for camping - being probably the cheaper option - but if the rooms are only going to be about £20 then hotel sounds good.

It seems as if we need a definate cut off date and money in by date to help you guys organise this thing.

Keep up the good work..... :cheese:

Hoping to get those who want to, in at the chain of Formule1................
Basic, but at 29 euros a ROOM, why not ?
O.K. you young 'uns can up tent, down tent, up tent, down tent a lot quicker and easier than us 'Mum 'n' Dad's' can !!
Each to their own I say.
Tis a proper bed for me and hubby.
Gonna do the tent thing again at I.M.M. tho'.

I say go with the hotel option, theres some major mileage involved in this trip and I'm sure I'm not gonna be the only one who has no one to share the driving with (girly can't drive) so a real bed would be apreciated!! Ok it's gonna add more to an allready pricey adventure but we have 9 months to save!! So my vote is hotel..............with a bar

dont think its going to cost that much,

i reckon in total £175, for your run pack (maps shirts etc) ferrys hotels, but thats not inc food or petrol, but i reckon £200/250 max.

but thats not bad for 5 days over seas all inc holliday for 2.

im saveing
