i purchased a new style kad quickshift yesterday with the lift collar reverse.
i fitted it as its supose to be fitted and i went for a test drive to see what its like.
nuteral is stiff moving but i supose this is due to wearing in?
1st gear is fine but going into 2nd doesn't feel right and it's popped back out a few times,
3rd and 4th are also fine but reverse is a complete pain doesn't go in properly and slips alot.
is this what theyre like? or does it just need to wear in?
cheers

i took the linkage off my car to fit my MK1 style KAD quickshift. I hated it, was a struggle to get 3rd n 4th for me. So i took it out. Its not very quick if you cant get used to it, as u spend more time trying to get gears then u do driving lol. Maybe its just my style of changing gear, but ive tried both now and will keep standard.
yer i might have to go back to standard if i can't get use to it but it constantly feels like its not going
into gear which ain't very good for the gearbox when i'm crunching the gears.
i might try taking it apart 2mora and see if i can do anything.
and yer i've spent more time and concentration on changing gear than anything else, so overall its a kad slowshift for me lol
and it feels to stiff! hope that doesn't sound rude lol
