I fitted an old inertia starter due to fitting a front mount rad, so bought the lightweight flywheel with the apropriate ring gear.

surely the solenoid is on top of the starter so it should still fit with a front mount rad? sorry for going O/T


No its not entirely on top and the solenoid still sticks out beyond the rest of the motor and flywheel housing.

The mini pre eng. starter has the solenoid at an angle so to speak, the metro one sticks right out at the front. If you catch my drift :)
