A bit more progress this weekend

I made an A frame to hold the doors for spraying

Sanded down the hinges, bonnet, boot lid and a host of other smaller bits

1 question. what drill bit and technique are you using to remove the panels?

I used spot weld removing drills from machinemart, its best to centre punch the weld first to stop it from moving about and go slow or you burn the cutter out too quickly

your lucky with the panels, just done mine recently and i bought all genuine parts. Had to do exactly the same as you but the fit on my panels was terrible. where it moulds to form the arch there wad about a 1.5 inch gap had to weld braces along the back of it and then fill it with body work filler. Bit of a pain but all good fun. nice job anyway.

The blue stuff it spot putty filler it goes on very thin and is ideal to deal with small or shallow imperfections. The car is going to be painted surf blue with a black roof
