it was actulay very easy to do.

took about 15 mins per wheel.

just put a peice of masking tape on each spoke and cut along the edge with a craft knife.

realy easy :proud:

they look great! just wahat i need to do on my wheels!!

so did you mask the spokes, then spray with the primer, then the black and polish the alloy rim etc to get them as they are now?

and you used zinc primer and plack spray from halfrauds?

sorry if its obvious, im just making sure.... lol

thanks

i

completly stripped the wheels

sanded down all of the curbing

used finer and finer wet and dry to smooth it off.

then did most of the polishing before masking and painting.(so i didnt damage the paint)

give it a final polish with brasso or similar.

give the whole wheel a wipe down with white spirit to remove things that stop the paint adhering

then mask it up. i did the rim first. it doesnt matter hugley about masking a perfect line around the rim as you can sort it out with a knife after.
to do the spokes a put a peice of masking tape along the spoke then cut along the edges with a knife. its easier than you think.

then gave it a few coats of zinc primer, then quite a few coats of black.

and keep polishing it regularly. dont laquer it, the alloy will corrode underneith
