It's that time of year again (MOT
She's been rescued by the AA thrice.
New head gasket.
New thermostat.
New water pump.
New temp sensor for aux fan.
New driveshaft.
New driveshaft seals.
New tyres.
New exhaust.
And other things I can't remember but Visa does...
And now the sills.

And unfortunately not just the sills.

Let's just see what else the MOT throws up.

Mines in the mini hospital for scuttle and rear arch issues, goodness knows what he'll find. Thankfully the sills were done earlier in the year.
All the best with it!

Luckily I can now get the bus to new job. It takes hours, but it's cheaper than running a mini.
She's only ten years old, but rapidly turning into a pile of red oxides. My '79 GT has less holes.

That doesn't look bad, back in the day most Minis would have been on their 3rd set of sills by ten and the corrosion would've been wider 'n flakier.

What is happening with Tommy, was wondering if he'd emigrated.
He's in the same state he was a year ago. A few sorry issues have repeatedly arisen with those appointed the task of rebuild.

I s'pose so. She's held together with turtle wax at the moment.

Wilson, a mini is for four seasons, not just for summer!
She'll be back on the road soon. And so will I. I'll probably need a refresher course of driving lessons by then!
