What a prat! (not you ANORAK!!).......Would put paid to my Mini if this guy had his way......he obviously hasn't seen the themed Minis that grace the shows.....
How boring would it be if we all drove standard Minis.....grrr.......

erm, this was my letter, i did send it in
it's alright, i can take it as much as i can give it. there is a time and place for this sort of thing (mainly playgrounds). i don't expect to see mini-world plastered with it.
the point i made (for those who don't do subtle) was if the magazine is so keen to support this, why don't they print pictures of their feature cars with large sunglasses on the bonnet and clingfilm wrapped around them ?????.........

The magazine's journos are reporting on the event and probably want to convey the sense of fun enjoyed by the participants, it's difficult to capture fun and laughter in a magazine photo but the fancy dress will certainly help. When they're doing a feature on a car then people will want to see the car and not have it obscured by silly props.
I think they've got it about right and I appreciate their efforts when I'm stood reading their mags in WH Smiths
