Thanks guys, been doing little fiddly *melon* like replacing the oil pan, fitting droop stops (mini ones work excellent, the frame came from Minitec with pieces of 1/4" adhesive foam strip as droop stops!) and painting little parts. Should be able to slot the motor in today.

I don't know what color it will eventually be painted. I've been thinking BMW Atlantis Blue. Or maybe that Spruce Green that new Toyotas have. Or maybe...

ginger_monkey, my dad bought one of those new 7D Canons, and I've been fortunate enough to mess around with it a bit. The garage has terrible lighting.

Im just wondering what size pipe are you using here as i am going to do the same myself, and do they have a 90 degree bend on them too ya?

I would just like to say....wow. What an amazing build. I would love to build a mini like this, everything perfect. I wish I had enough money!!! Oh I wouldn't use the normal Samco hoses for fuel transfer (like above) they will not last long. The fuel will eat away at them, trust me. I would give it 2 months. You will need the Flurolined stuff (with a black liner).

Lush car though, fair play!

Thanks guys, and Chris-G, I'll probably be building a set of CBR based throttle bodies shortly after I get the car running; also, the injectors are ahead of the hoses so I'm not all too worried about it. I'll play it by ear, though.

You mean I actually have to go out and work on this thing?

I'm currently trying to sort some fairly major issues out with Minitec so until I get everything dialed I don't think there will be all that much going on in this thread. Kam, 954 throttle bodies indeed. I've done a fair bit of reading and I would have no problem welding up aluminum runners. Another project for another day...

My buddy and I picked scooters and we're both very competitive people, so it's all downhill from here. You can see the custom stainless muffler peeking out at the bottom of the picture:
