I was on the TVMC club stand, which was next to The Mini Forum, but the only person I know is Fireman Sam and he wasn't on your stand so I didn't come over. I caught up with him by the Shed Mini on it's trailer, poor thing.

I stayed with a friend in Northampton on the Saturday as beer and curry in a house was more favourable than camping !

Why oh why weren't the club stands on the tarmac. The mudbath in the morning was a complete farce. Still we were all in the same boat and ended up with messed up Minis !

I spent most of my time at the drag strip- brilliant entertainment as far as I was concerned.

Only downer was that the chairman of our club found a couple of kids getting into my car on the clubstand as I'd left him unlocked. All I can say is I am glad it wasn't me who found them......

I had a good weekend, apart from the rain on saturday ;D that was naaaaasty! I think MITP should be held over the entire weekend instead of the main stuff happening on the sunday, seeing as there was so much you could do...bit silly but oh well! Was god to see lots of people :D

Bought Freddie a couple of things, new shiney chrome gear knob ^_^ some new indicator lenses as someone broke one of mine :D but that's it for him as he has stuff that needs sorting out before he can be purdified :P but bought myself a hoody and t-shirt :D yay!

I broke down on the way home :D funsies :P

Freddie decided he didn't like the wet and being left in a field over night ;) so wouldn't start, even with jump leads :ermm: so we had to push him, maybe he just like many hands on his bottom? parked him up in the parking field and he wouldn't start again when we went to leave :- so his bottom was felt up again! And then he decided to lose all electrical power about half a mile from santa pod :dozing: plus he has had a funny smell coming from his engine bay for a few days :dontgetit: called out the RAC, then thought to push him again and then he was fine :dozing: crazy ass mini that he is...though we were only using his wipers when we really needed to and ran for quite a way without headlights :( Thanks to Graham for coming back for us :ermm:

I would like to apologise to all TMF'ers camped near me who were woke by my little boy shouting "mummy" at the top of his voice at 6am.

Thats was a lovely wake up call :ermm:

As I said in the MITP pic topic:

sorry to Minili for picking her up and throwing her into the middle of everyone for the introductions, was just being friendly! Honest :-

I had a grat time and it was good to have such a good turn out, cheers to all who made it!! ;D

Once again another MITP that was poorly organised, however the cars on the strip was entertaining especially the Jet car. Shed racing was not having a good day though, ouch i bet that hurt. The event staff at Santa Pod didnt seem to be very helpful and at times very rude, so if its there again next year I wont be ;D

I'd give Santa Pod another chance personally, although its going to be in the fields again, and the forecast is rain I may think twice!

Personally I'd like everyone who thought Santa Pod were wrong to put us in the mud instead of the tarmac, or who suffered at the hands of the rude stewards to email them!

shame about the mud but that cant be helped bit dissapointed by the lack of cars on the strip a lot of the hot ones were parked up all day (maybe they are not as quick as the owners make out!).Bini's were C**p,so slow they were just boring to watch funny when the red one broke down on the line and had to be pushed though lol.Di anyone else find it bizzare that both minimag and miniworld had a stand seeing that they don't even publise each other's event's (petty do they think people only read one mag?)
