It was ever so slightly muddy wasn't it...?

We had our woody estate on the stand opposite TMF. 2 weeks ago we were at Santa Pod in the Mustang, for the muscle car weekend, and the whole thing took place on the far side of the track on the tarmac. How come the tarmac area was left empty for MITP...??!!!

Altogether a bit of a shambles, we didn't get a good look round because it was just too muddy, and the racing was cut short by some idiot in a shed of a Mini. Its about time somebody inspected these cars a bit more before they let them on the track, that car was so badly bodged together it was bound to break...!!!

Rant over now, at least the rain held off... ;D

I agree with Syholl. We went to the Japfest last year and all the traders were on the concrete that was completely empty today. Why did they not let us park up on there???

I went on saturday to help my club set up. Organisation was pretty cack - the club area hadnt been marked out, so we couldnt set up. When I left at 3.30 it still hadnt been done. The camping field was a bit of a shambles - compared to cornbury park it was tiny, and people were getting really cramped. For a venue with such a big name, I really wasn't impressed. I went to the 'finity weckstock bash in the evening, and it was brilliant - we had a nice dry barn, live music and a bungee run ;D This morning I had a call from my club saying they were all giving up and coming home, the mud was that bad. So I didn't even bother going today. Doesn't look like I missed too much.

me and mate also slept in minis because tent was a waste of time, and the guy from minis on the chase next to us did the same. And dozens others from what i noticed.

Had heater on and music at about 5am as couldnt sleep (radio 1 on quiet dont wry and we didnt run engine)

We were completly boxed in by some idiots who decided to set up tent in the middle of the car route past our tents, then another set up in front of us and another to the right blocking our cars in for the two days.
