I don't know if it is compulsory, but i have blue side lights, iridium iron headlamps with blu angel eyes with no pattern either.. so i change it just in case!! i prob won't change it over this year tho, just to try my luck!!

ahh i see now, give it a go, it'll only cost u an extra MOT, at least then u'll know if theyre MOT proof

Yea!!
Where i am taking it to this year is a mates garage! so he will tell me to do all the life threatening jobs like ball joints etc.. but he won't be too bothered about niggliy things like headlamps!! in theory anyways!

I had a ally MG box like that on mine , after i fitted the 1.5 roller rockers it sounded like a machinegun ! :gasp:

I don't think you could get away with it by grinding, Minispares make an extended version of the MG Metro rocker box which will take hi-lift rockers and it's quite a lot taller. The difference is so much I think you'd have to grind the top right off the thing. But that box might be designed for 1.7's too, so you may not need to go all that far.

oi u less of that cheek. i think it looks nice at the moment to b honestwhaty cant u be botherd to polish it every 6 months.... i though miniman was lazy! :tongue:
