Sorted some wiring issues.......
Have run the wiring for the rear lights just haven't plumbed them in yet.
Have sorted all the ignition wiring.
Have sorted all the front lights wiring.
Have sorted the horn wiring and fitting.
Have sorted the reverse gear and wiring.
Have sorted sorted the fuel sender (fitted it upside down :nugget: ).
Fitted all switches for ancilleries.
Fitted ignition lights.
Welded exhaust manifold to correct position.
Lengthened cables on engine sensors so they don't foul/melt on the chain/exhaust.
Modified adaptor to allow oil pressure sender to be fitted.
And all that after starting at 11
Another day at it tomorrow! Hope to start at about 9.30 with another long list of things to do!
Mind you it has started to feel very close now....... You could almost drive it.........

Will take some pics after tomorrows work to show hopefully loads of progress :fear:

the standard wheels would have gone anyway, judging by the pics on his website, there is 7x13 superlites on it (tasty)hey this may be a stupid qusetion but since you have converted your car to rear wheel drive what has happened to the front wheels. ie have you got different wheels hubs of a rwd car or kept the orignal hubs and just removed the axel shafts?
The fron hubs are kept and the outer cv joint is used as this keeps all the bearing / hub assembly together. Simple really, you just machine the the cup off the cv joint to save weight but you could run it as was............
Thought i would answer that one for you ADE as you should be busy finishing the minus off
Cheers Mark :wales:
Here's one i made earlier.............

Thanks Mark. Just one point though before you think about machining your cups off. You need somewhere to mount your speed sensor. Now depending on what type your using will depend how you mount it.
Now personally I think with the car being rear wheel drive you don't want the sensor at the back (wheelspin etc dodgy speed readings etc etc). The current idea is to weld a plate onto the back of the cup with four nuts on it for the magnetic sensor to pick up (this is how Chris does his aswell).
Wiring is now finished (aside from tidying up).
The car moved for the first time on sunday with out being pushed!!!! (no it wasn't on a hill it was moved by the engine  )
Still quite a few jobs to do (am also waiting on parts!) but really want to get it finished very soon!!

Tidying some wiring
Cutting and fitting the perspex for the windows
Sorting the bonnet fitment out
Fixing the speed sensor in
Building the bulkhead
Fitting windscreen wipers washer bottle and squirters
Finishing the other door card
Final fit seats and harnesses.
Get insured MOT tax etc then Set up at Z-cars.
Doesn't sound like much but given some of the trauma's we've had with some of the "quick" jobs, god only knows how long it'll take :cheese:
