And spent the rest of the day making templates for the bulkhead! Time consuming doesn't even start to describe this job!!!! :nugget:

Have got the permanent parts shaped will be cutting these shapes from ally next then making the rest from there....... I'm really looking forward to that bit... :nugget: :fear:

It doesn't look like much but should make my life a bit easier when it come to cutting the aluminium sheet! Hasn't help that it's been raining about all weekend so space is a bit tight :nugget:

Those templates are the start of the rear bulkhead.... :fear: I pretty much have the way I'm going to do it sorted in my head now am just attempting to get that into reality...... :nugget:

The mounting brackets for the arches are just little strips of ally with a bend in the middle. about five per arch rivet to body put a screw through the arch into bracket and jobs done.....

We must all be bored on a sunday?
Funny how the bike engined boys have been quiet all week on here?
I havnt made any progress with the build this week but i have managed to sell most of the bits i dont need (engine and interior ) so i have made some cash and space to work in the garage, so guess you could calll it progress........

Most of my progress happens at the weekends due to work and gym time  By the time I'm home and fed it's about 8-9 so not really the ideal time to start tinkering in the garage :nugget:

I am taking a day off this week though so hope to get as much of the bulkhead done as possible!! :fear:

It's the only time I can get round there to work on it

Although Ade has managed to cut out some cardboard on his own today as I had to go to work.

Ade, how have you done the fuel gauge sender unit and what make sender hav you used??
Also could you measure the diameter of the filler neck (outside measurment) as i plan to put a remote AERO TYPE filler in the scuttle panel with a length of hose connected to the original filler neck where the screw on cap fits, to save lifting the bonnet to refuel?

Cheers mark :wales:
