Hi Tarks

The kit did have a much improved effect on the rear screen but unfortunatley it still wasn't up to the sort of quality I wanted :sad: So I'm just going to get a new one! Might cost more but no worries of spoiling the finish for the sake of about £40 :angry: :grin:

Oh and good news about the bike!! :grin:

I'm still considering the winter warmer..... :fear: All things being fair it should be road legal by then will just be a case of getting the geometry set up in time :grin:

I have just looked at Pete's mini and it looks very nice. it looks like it has a high standard of finish but the paint looks a bit dull is this just the picture

Winter warmer is the last big mini meet of the year..... toying with going if the mini's finished and set-up in time! :fear:

Pete did the bodywork and paint himself. He's been saying it needs a bit more work to get a really deep shine plus his colour is a bit lighter than mine. Which might explain why the colour doesn't look as deep.
