The rev counter still needs setting up properly so then I'll know exactly what it's doing! :grin:

That video was actually Pete driving! As he's been driving his pick-up he's a little more willing to "give it death" than I was initially but when I took my neigbour for a quick run up the road it was getting there!

Your driving along and you think ooo must be about time to change gear and then you find you've just got to the bottom of the exciting part when the engine really gets going!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!! :grin: :grin:

Just watched the video (unfortunately I don't have a sound card, or speakers on my work PC- so can't hear it- :sad: )

Still, it looks fantastic. Have you got the wheels pointing roughly in the right direction yet?- I'm having a mare trying to get my drivers side rear wheel to not toe-in by miles! It's Almost like the drive shaft doesn't have enough lateral free-play. I just hope I'm not going to have to remove the shaft to machine it. What's it like in yours?

Dale (R1minimagic) had the same problem but with the passenger driveshaft, he is using the lobros so he could get a spacer made up, to effectively lengthen the driveshaft

If you look on R1minimagic thread you can just see on a couple of pictures a 10mm alloy spacer

Not had any probs at all to be honest! It hasn't been set up at all!! Just roughly by eye all pointing generally the same way.... :fear:

It's ok on power but off power every bump in the road will pull the car all over the shop!! :nugget: But that'll be ironed out by the setting up! :grin:

It's not fair
I can't download the clip to see what it looked like from outside. From inside the car it was scary to say the least. Damn plastic toy kept bouncing about every time it hit a bump
It'll be fun watching Chris at z-cars give it a quick road test on Monday.

Mine has cost near to £13k. I know Ade's has cost more because of buying the car and the paint job. So in my estimate you can add at least another £2k on top.
