Took the car outside today to turn it round so I can weld on the o/s a-post. Thought I would take some pics whilst it was out. Doesn't look like much has happened but most of what I have done is mechanical. Brake/clutch/fuel and water pipes run under the car. Brace bars/rad/fuel tank all fitted to the front subframe.

Should be ready for July 6th for a certain DVD shoot. Will be good to see a real driver test it out.
Will certainly be going along to some shows after that.
Yes they are miglia arches. Their the only ones we could find wide enough to cover the wheels.

Ian is shooting another version of the extreme mini dvd. Have been invited to take the pickup along and let some race driver thrash it around a track whilst they film it.
Hopefully mine and Ade's will be ready and we will take them both.

I met him at one of the shows early this year and Ade had already spoken to him about both our cars. I think Chris has spoken to him as well because he's the same person who did the z-cars build dvd. The idea of an R1 powered pickup appears to have created a lot of interest.

the pick up has caused quite a stir on here!!!!! this has inspired me to build something a little different, problem is insuring it for road use, are you making it full road legal?? if you are, which insurance company are you gunna use???
