Both the pickup and Ade's minus will be fully road legal. Haven't even enquired about insurance yet but have been led to believe that on a limited mileage policy it won't be too expensive. It is only a 1litre engine Chris at z-cars has apparantly done some sort of deal with Adrian Flux so they recognise the car without having to list out all the modifications. Guess these will be first company to try.

Today has to be the best day so far. Went out to the garage this morning thinking Oh God, loads of sanding to do. When I got there I suddenly thought what the heck. Emptied the petrol out of my lawnmower, connected a battery and
IT RUNS It sounds awesome
Then back to reality of sanding the bodywork

It runs, it stops and I can even change gear now. If I had an expansion tank for the water then I would be driving it up and down the road. On the bad side I am now having to concentrate on the bodywork. Can't decide whether to paint it myself or send it to a bodyshop. Will post some pics later in the week.

Work in progress. Just so Ade can see it. Still needs wet flatting and a couple of marks sanding out before the top colour coats go on.
