Yes that does make sense, so I'll have to remember that for the future.

also worth checking the connections on the ignition switch i had no brake or reverse lights on mine wiggled the switch and they started working again

Right guys, an update

I've bought a new fusebox, and for now, everything seems to be working... ***finds the nearest bit of wood to touch***

Got no left indicator though... just put in a brand new relay, it's really wierd - the relay clicks as though the indicators are working, but no lights on the left indicator light up... not even the dash one...

The right indicator works fine...

Any ideas???
