The insurance seem's a little high, is that through a specialist like Adrian Flux.
Good luck with the MOT, the Test etc etc
Cheers

I´m having some troubles on fitting my minispares grp 2 arches... Is it possible that you take some photos in detail of front arches, near the bumper?
Mine seems to go too down.
Thank you and I wish all the best for your project!

Anyways, my laptop has finally decided to allow me to upload some pics (stupid thing) the engine is planned to go in tomorrow! can't wait!
Cheers for that! we'd been wondering weather to plumb it in or not, we decided not to in the end and see how it went, but now we probably will! CHEERS!i have the same manifolds as you have! one huge tip, make sure you plum in the inlet manifold to your heater system, i didnt and had terrible running problems with the car until i did!
Here are some pics, there're a few of the arches on the front valence for anyone that wants to see.

Been a day of good and bad....unfourtanatly the bad points outway the good ones

I woke up and went out to the garage to see that my dad had already got the engine in on his own, but in teh process had scrapped all the way down into the metal on the scuttle! he couldn't wait for a teen to wake up so attempted on his own and the carb which he forgot to remove scrapped all teh paint off daaaaaaaaarn. will get his mate who's a pro body shopper to touch it up

The good part...got everything wired up and working, she started!!! no exhaust fitted so very loud, but she ran! took her for a few spins up and down the drive, more poke than she used to have which is awesome!
More bad... the brakes aren't working properly, we've bled them so many times to try and fix it, but there's always a dead pedal first time you press teh brake, then the next time it's fine?!?! we've tracked it down to the front right caliper but can't seem to fix it

More bad... the wheels won't sit on the flange? properly, there;s a piece which needs to be machined off the because atm it's not sitting right?!
On bit of a downer atm, will see how tomorrow goes
