Hey guys just a quick update...new bits and bobs have been ordered, a mk1 morris grille kit, bumper and overider/corner bar kit, mk1 rear lights and a 60's style aerial, can't wait for them to arrive

We've wiped the car down with grease killer stuff ready for rubbing down, getting excited now as it's coming to the last part of the body work, rub, spray, rub spray

That's all for now, Thanks for looking

Nick

Hey thanks for the comment, i have my dad to thank for the panel gaps, he's done nearly all of the bodywork, it's my turn now....rubbing  My dad's had pleanty of experience with that aswell with his Lotus Elan, so it shouldn't be too bad....then it's paint and more frilly bits

rub, spray, rub spray

How rude! This is meant to be about the CAR!!! :dontgetit:

Keep the green it looks lovely! Sooooooo many red minis, your colour is rare and speshul like mine hehe keep it!

Also how lucky are you to have a nice big garage like that  My garage is barely big enough for the Mini!!!

Project looks like it's going very well and quite fast, good on your dad for doing the welding!

Have you sold the wheels - what are you going for instead?

Lise x

Hey, another update.
Started rubbing down over the last few days OUCH my fingers lol  it's not going too bad at the moment; i tried one side and got it a bit wrong, went too deep, found out that she'd been resprayed in the past, the original green was a bit darker than the one that's on it now. The rest of the rubbing down has gone a lot smoother than the first panel, but i've gotta learn somehow :P

The wheel are gonna be some deep dish 10x6 minilite styles and i haven't really tried to sell the revos yet but they will be going as soon as.

Here are some pics...
