hey man just read the topic from start to finish lol... its amazing you really need to thank your dad for that kind of help i have a62 project mini and have built a few minis in my time and having that kind of help is the best thing that could have happened to you.

I have a pic of my 79 850 on dunlops while on knockhill race circuitin scotland. these wheels look amazing.

will look very kewl on your wee motor.

Hey guys, thanks for all the awesome comments, really keeps spirit up when doing a project! as you guys said, without my dad this wouldn't be possible so i've really gotta think of a way to thank him lol.

A bit stuck at the moment, so much school work to do, so my dad's been doing most of the things this week; tomorow will give me a chance to get back out in the shed and take some pics to update the thread =)

It's really coming together now and i can almost see her being done by april 16th! fingers crossed

haha will do, ye my dad is a bit of a lurker on lotus forums, not quite up to date with computers enough to post his own things, so i show his stuff off for him

Finally got to enter the world of grease and grime again today after a week of solid physics work it was nice to see how she was doing and what my dad had been getting up to in the week. Started fitting all sorts now, got the lights working today, fitted halogens, fitted fuel tank and did some work in the engine bay. Here are the pics....

Hey hey guys, just a lil update today.

Last few days we've fitted the new dash (pain in the arse if you're not quite sure which way things go!!!) and got the doors on and fitted. They've lined up pretty good, will just need some tweaking when everything else is done. I also ordered some new door seals as the originals ar bwggered.

Anyways here's some pics, she's coming on nicely now.....only 40 something days to go before i can drive "better put your foot down"!
