Hey everyone,

Ive just bought my first mini as my secnd car. Obviously it will be modified at some point im just trying to find out the best bits. Im a bit late for going to the shows so if anyone has some photos of different types of arches that are actually on cars that would be a great help. I also want some wheels which i found from minisport which seem to be really nice 12x5 ultralites so the arches really need to go with the wheels. I really dont want to be cutting bits of metal.

Cheers

Scott

Hello,

Imo keep it how it is as they’re becoming rare in standard form, stick a set of grey plastic arch and the stickers and your done.

Hey,

Cheers for the comments, where is the best place to get the grey arches then, and what are the like to fit. With wheels do you wreckon i am better off getting them shot blasted then painted or powder coated? Also does anyone know where to get a vacuum advance diapragm for a lucas distributor. Im struggling to find a new part instead of having a whole new distributor.

cheers for the help.

B-e-a-utiful lil 25 you've got there! Nice to see an original one and I hope you keep it that way, it'll be worth a small but tidy sum in the future in original condition.

MiniSpares (link at bottom of thread) will sort you out with the vaccuum advance ^^

Arches, well, you just need standard ones for that so...either mooch around in the For Sale section here or pop along to a Mini Show in your area and nab a set for a song. They just screw/poprivet on depending on your preference and you'll need a can of Rover 'Storm Grey' paint to spray them up and complete your grey trim set. ;)
