What, as in a Polish person?

I think neutral colours work best in a bedroom, something light and creamy. As Bean has said, you can enhance that with a different/varied selection of coloured accessories. One thing I wouldn't do is have a dark coloured bedroom. Sometimes your bedroom is as much a study as anything else (especially for you younger lot) and you want to be comfortable in there in the day, rather than just at night. I think darker colours would make it look smaller too. It looks like it's a sort of longish rectangle shape, rather than pretty square, so I'd say that if you are going to have any dark colours, do it on one of the end walls, with a HOOJ mirror on there to reflect some light back atcha (and for Jammy to check himself out in).

Our beddy-room-boudoir is completely white apart from one wall (head of the bed) which is "cuban red" - I prefer to think of it as Scab Red

if your double bed doesnt have a headboard u could paint one on the wall kinda, like 1 brown(or what ever wall) then just a rectangle outline
painting my room soon and thinking i may do it like that but i like having my bed to one side so mgiht skip the headboard line bit
