managed to find a mk1 servo. they are also fitted to alfa 105 coupe aparently. got two for £4.50 each. hopefully can make at least one good one out of 2 old ones.

This had got me thinking. what other parts i am after where fitted to other cars?

anyone know what these parts where also fitted to?

7.5 discs / calipers (cooper s and gts with 10" brakes)
drive flanges for above when converting from 8.4 discs
hardy's (austin 1300? and autos)
120mph speedo for mk1
taller master cylinder (cooper s and?)

was talking to a guy the other day that said s cranks and rods where fitted in some other engines aswell???

An early 1275 auto block, could that be used to make an s replica engine? would the auo block be a or a+ and would it have tappet covers and fit on a manual gearbox?

thanks

For the tank, see this directory:

The pics are not of my car. An email acquaintance sent them to me 5 years ago.

I mentioned in a previous post that the Mk1 servo was used on some early Alfa. I'm glad you found which one and located them. However, though apparently identical to the Mk1 servo (and most certainly used on Innocenti models), the Alfa parts are from Bendix Italy (Benditalia). I was told the rebuild kits may be different. Should you want to rebuild either of the two you've located, contact your nearest Alfa parts supplier... don't count on the Lockheed parts being the same.

No you won't be able to use the Auto block as they are specific to the auto gearbox - they have oil drillings in different places, no dip-stick hole and a number of other differences, but it's the oilways which mean you won't be able to use it.
