now is it me or does that look like a cylinder head you have used
getting used to copying the IMG code, seems like you have to select the required photo
then copy the IMG code or it justs pastes the previously used picture...

ive bought some of these dummy ones, cost me £75, they do not work, they constantly pop off when you open the door as they are stuck on, made of hollow plastic and very very cheap indeed. ive given up on the idea.
You can buy a brand NEW proper external hinge set from mini spares for £80.
I’m too am doing this to my project, although I’m using the proper mk1/2 inner a panels and making up some beefy brackets for the inside of the doors.

The front fixing point is ok, for the rear one I cut a piece of 3mm sheet and shaped it to follow
the door contour and then bonded it to the inside of the door skin.

How come you never used the inner A-Panel Carl?
I did, found it a pain when trying to get the seam along the arch to line up. I also found to get the brackets in the doors, to be leathel with the grinder and cut a hole where the hinges are going to be, and get ur fingers in there and hope u can get the but on the hinge.
