Oh dear, I've been listening to the music of the late Glenn Miller who disappeared 70 years ago. I love all types of music, but to me there is nothing to compare with the music of Glenn Miller. There was nothing back in my young days either. Even the Beatles, Presley, etc, whilst good, couldn't touch the magic of Mr. Miller's arrangements and his band's playing of them.

 

I guess that makes me seem very un-cool, but try listening to him with an open mind and realise that one man has scored the music for each instrument separately, then put it all together to create such sounds.
