i dont like it personaly its ok to go see your neighbours or some relatives. but other wise its just begging.

any way what happened to dont talk to strangers or eat sweets from strangers but its ok to send your kids out in the dark wearing predomitly black knocking on random doors for sweets.

trick or treat used to be what was asked for and the kid either one or the other. not give me sweets or i'll torch your motor

ALSO in the uk it used to be swedes not pumkins thats the irrating american influnce

in short i pretend to be out

hiding easter eggs in your garden is different. when i was a kid we used to go round to a party o play bobbin for apples n other games for halloween

swedes are turnip n vise visa in scotland for some reason so yeah in england they were turnips in scotland they were swedes.

my main gripe tends to be the way its forced down peoples throats by over advertising it and aiming directly at the kids and then you have no real choice in the matter

But thats like everything...i bet UK have all the christmas stuff out on every shelf in every shop!! and when thats all sold out or dumped they will be caked in easter eggs!!

either take it or leave it!! i never liked Halloween till i had kids...

My sodding sister went trick or treating tonight. She's 15!

We only had one set come here, it was next door's kids so that's ok.

I object to strangers coming, or anybody over 10.

One year we had some teenage boys, we gave them sweets, then they trashed dad's car anyway :xxx:

I hate Halloween and more specifically trick-or-treaters. It's legalised mugging :P > :xxx:
