what did you do to the rear lights, they look really nice.


swapped them for mk 2 light by the looks of things


Mk2 clusters don't fit, they are quite abit smaller than Mk3>

they still look like mk3's to me but like all red


They are still Mk3 clusters, I just sprayed the clear reverse part with red tinting spray.

I've got a spare clear set for the MOT.

Can I just say, mk2 light clusters do fit, you just have to fiddle with the wiring a little. I know because I've done it!

Ahh, thats kool, I only ever looked at the mk2 clusters at shows and they seem to look so much smaller. I'll be getting my self some of those.

You kidding? it looks fantastic as it is!
Whats the planned finish dates? As you know is the minis big 50th next year, and i'd love to see this car at some shows again :)

Well the tax runs out in July so Ill be going to shows up untill then. From then on im not sure how long its going to take. 1 year? Maybe 5.

Full rebuild! What's wrong with it?


The shell mainly. I'm just wanting to get every inch on it spotless.

Having it as a project now rather than a daily runner.
