I just picked these up!!! An Ibanez GSR200JB Phat EQ in Jewel Blue & a Fender rumble 15 thingummy. I'm sooooooooo excited about this!!!!
They are hidden in my friend's pub til monday & I'm just about to pop down there & wrap them up properly. You can't really disguise the shape of a guitar in wrapping paper, though.....
Thanks for all your help guys (even if I did ignore most of it & choose summink else. Sorry).

i started on a tanglewood, retailed about £250, brilliant bass and i really miss it! twas a great all rounder... you can find it here http://www.themusicg...85546e5ab68868b and its £180 now bargain!
it is my advice to avoid the P-bass or anything from fender for that matter, especially inconsistant in my experiance, and an an annoyingly thin neck at the head imo. they are some peoples favorite tho, and who can argue with jaco pastorius?!... oh wait
iv seen a few people saying washburn, my mate has one and its a good bass, harmonics are shocking but for a beginner that really shouldnt matter
heres muh babies (any excuse to post em lol)
