Anywho...

Last week, Kris greased Reggie's nipples!

And the other day, we decided to take a look at Reggie's suspension. He's sitting pretty low at the front and rubs on the arch when turning...

So Kris had some spare Spax shocks!


Managed to get the passenger side one on, which is the worst of the two... Unfortunately though, one of the bushes was missing on the shocks and the driver's side one can't go on until we get one!


So, Reggie has a Spax!

Once drove up Sutton Banks in a Mini with 30+ stone of mate in the back, the speedo said we were doing 40 in 2nd gear. I suspect the tyre marks are still there after 20 years

I've also pedalled it without stopping - won't be doing that again in a hurry

Updates!!

Well - Reggie has had a fair bit done to him recently!!



For a while, Reggie's suspension has gradually been getting lower and lower...! Kris decided to put some Spax on him as one of my shock absorbers was leaking!

But when we took Reggie out for a drive, he was still catching on the wheel arch!

So, we decided that it was the donuts that had worn!


So, thanks to Udo, we got a pair at Normanby Hall! They had only done 500 miles and got the pair for £25!



So, up to Darlington we went and the lovely Mr Kris and his Dad set about replacing them! Thank you, you two!!

As well as new rubbers, he was also treated to a set of adjustable hi-los at the front!


So, Reggie now sits SO perfectly and doesn't grind at all!!


Massive thank you to mr nightflier and his Dad - I'm sorry it was such a pain of a job!


Reggie also has a new heater tap... he's got a later in-line type now! And it actually works!! It's such a novelty to have hot air!!

Ooop, and he has a new water-pump which needs to be fitted! He's leaking very slightly and we think the seal has gone in it!


Oooh, and a MK1 boot handle! Just need to swap the barrells!
