Now, this is something ive done before, and before everyone jumps down my throat i know its not a good idea and can cause damage, but......

Get a load of old cushions and lay them at the back of the car, tie rope around subframe and other end around lamp post, the drive away slowly.

I was on my own though and needed it out of the car quick.

seriously lucky that their backs didnt get put out! Ive just finished putting my engine in and its heavy - flip sake the hubs are heavy! (or maybe im weak!)
