Nah, I havnt crashed the mini but it got your attention.

Nearly lost it into a parked car tonight, and that was just normal driving.

Looks like its going to be a cold night, so all you mini lovers, be careful tomorrow morning!

I had a little problem with some black ice this morning, was driving over the tops and started sliding, but luckily there were no other cars in sight. Its my first winter on the road, never had to drive when its been icy before :sneaky:

Was soooooooo cold this morning though, would rather have stayed tucked up in bed!

Yep, nows the time of year when we find out who can drive and who can't.

For a start you shouldn't really use your brakes much at all, all the car control is with the gearing and your right foot. Driving should be as smooth as humanly possible. Normal driving is too dangerous for icy conditions such as we've had, you should be driving as if your tryes are made of eggshells.

Why would you joke about crashing a mini just to get our attention :o :sneaky:

Tis very Icey lately, everyone should be very careful! Especially as it freezes, melts in the day and re freezes makes it very dangerous.

My work mate lost control of his car last night, luckily no damage and no one hurt but just shows you how easy it is

Please everyone be careful. I'm beginning to be almost slightly vaguely but not very at all glad that Huey hasn't got any wires in and is tucked up in his garage. :sneaky:

Eek! At least he's OK, and no damage.

It's not that I can't drive as such, just inexperienced with ice, as it was March when I passed my test.... am guessing I'll get lots of practice this year though! Brr

Yup, I agree with Jammy...

Over on the ClubPolo the annual winter 'Polo Cull' has begun, they're dropping like flies due to the nasty weather at the minute.

And with recent events, please everyone be careful. I can't over emphasise the amount of care needed when driving on roads in these conditions, you need to be thinking so far ahead and be ready for anything.

The amount of people I see driving 'normally' assuming that their electronic gizmo's will get them out of trouble...doing 80mph 20 foot behind the car in front, cornering like its a hot summers day, its just silly!

I don't want to see any more pictures of poorly Mini's this winter!!
