i found more often than not as long as you have like a pound in your account it will accept your card and take a couple of days to come out.. Ive used that method before

In this instance I would just ask someone to borrow a tenner to see you over the next day or two. Has to be better owing money to your Mum/Dad/mate than worrying about going overdrawn or spending money you know you haven't got...
I've heard through the grapevine that cheques are slowly being phased out all over the place, soon we won't be able to use them at all.

It may take a couple of days to come out of your account, but the payment date will be recorded, and will send you overdrawn, and thus you'll incurr any associated charges..i found more often than not as long as you have like a pound in your account it will accept your card and take a couple of days to come out.. Ive used that method before
