well visually everything is just about finished. last week we got a 28 day permit to sort things out mechanically before we go for the roadworthy.
considering it hasn't been driven for 10 years, it runs well. it misses a bit when you first drive it but once it warms up a bit it gets better.
we have a bit of a water leak also, but at this stage we don't think its the actual water pump.
still having some wiring issues- still cant get reversing lights to work. and at the moment no tail lights, but we think this may be because of the rocker switch where you turn them on is a bit broken.
it jumps out of second occasionally when you slow down, but thats not really a big issue at the moment.
it seems that the engine is moving about a bit, so we might have to check out the engine mounts...hopefully not too much work.
so a few little jobs to do

At its first show:

EDIT: sorry about the poor quality of some pics....my internet is being uber slow so I had to shrink them so it wouldn't take an age to upload.

I love it so much. I get excited about every opportunity to drive it!
My dad is a boilermaker and very nifty with a welder, so he is making me some extractors. I am looking forward to them being on, hopefully it will give it a bit more go.l

One comment would be that the windscreen filler strip would possibly look better if it was a chrome one rather than black.

Thats mint
liking the doors and interior its something different !
Got anything else planned for it ?
Thanks!
Mint! Don't look too closely!

Yeah the interior is pretty much the same colour as it originally was. It's all pretty stocko looking.
I hope to get extractors on soon, but not much else planned for the near future. Except for lots of driving.
Very nice looking car, I really like the arches -sort of a mix of our group 2 and W&P styles.

Thank you!
Yeah I wanted to put the chrome strip in but when it came time to put the windscreen in with new rubbers we could only get a hold of the black stuff. Which is unfortunate because it does look a bit funny. Hopefully I will change it one day.
Absolutely flippin' gorgeous. Loving it.

You have done a great job!
Thank you!
Although it really is my dad and my brother who have done the good job. I was there mainly for moral support, rubbing back panels and making coffee.
