Bad day in the garage, nothing gone right.
Anyway, the fillet locking tool from Mini Spares.
How in holey hell do you use it? Do I just throw it at the screen and swear alot or what? I got no clue how to use it.
Ta for any help.

you slip the tip of the tool into the groove and turn it so that it pulls the lips apart, feed the fillet into the hole in the end of the tool which keeps the hole open enough to keep slipping the length in.. lubricant helps (fairy liquid and water in a spray bottle will do) then you can drag the tool all the way around the groove. i find it easier with another pair of hands to help.

in the end i just use a washing line peg, split in half, half to open the rubber other bit to push the strip in. Oh and dont use washing up liquid, way to much salt in it, which you dont want around that scuttle, plus it lets the strip slip back out. just a little spray of plusgas will do it. ( sorry BigGav )

It takes about 10 seconds to get it done together with some wash up liquid.
