Hi all taxed my mini online today just wondering if you can still get in trouble for driving it around while im waiting for the disc to arrive.? tax only ran out new years eve.

Wasnt going to retax it untill next month as im going to start and strip the inside out and replace the carpet etc. But i want to go to the ace cafe 2 morro night. :D

With it being done online if a police check occurs, they will check the database and will see that you have got a tax disc ordered so no you wont be done.

You should be OK if you print out the email reciept you were sent after you paid.... Stick that in the windscreen where your Tax disc normally goes. :D

He would have to be a harsh traffic warden who gave you a ticket... although technically I believe it is still an offence not to display the disc.....

Talking of traffic wardens they ride around on mopeds now too that i didnt know until i was parked up in birmingham around 6am in the morning and left the van and walked over to the site i was working for 5 mins came back and there was twit with a crash helmet walking away from my van going urban clearway you shouldnt be parked there. It cost me £30 not happy traffic wardens are the salt of the earth. :D

i like to use my local post office for buying my road tax

im with Bungle on that one, and it means you dont have to hang about waiting either.
and also - you can get a £60 fine for 'incorrectly displaying' tax disc.. I know! :D

I normally would surpport the post office but the weather is poo and the traffic was very bad today and if i had parked up in the only parking space at the time i would of got a ticket >_< so off a i trotted back home and online i went. :D
