They twist and lock onto the wheel, unlike normal hubcaps so they cant just come off. I've cut my hands twice on the valve cap trying to twist them off! :teehee:

Nice looking motor. I think you should spend some money on a new number plate for the rear though :dontgetit:

I probably will do at some point, but they'll be a bit flashy but still legal (no unreadable text or trying to make letters out of rivets).

Although those pennies have more important things to go towards, like a new set of shocks or some speaker pods for the doors.

I really do think your rear number plate lets the car down though, only a tenner and it'll not let the rest of the car down :D
Its all well and good having shiny bits but why have all that nice stuff and a peeling number plate that looks old and knackered?

Good point, where can I get a replacement one for as cheap as a tenner?

Think halfords do them for 12 quid.

Have you got any plans for the engine?

It's so darn reilable that I probably won't touch the engine, I'm quite happy with the performance as it is.

It's a numberplate.... :shy: Not much more to think about it, to be honest. As long as the lettering's legal, why not. Are you going to get a matching front one at least

Glad we cleared up that one! :shy:

That is the plan but as I said above I'll probably get some new shocks first.

If I do decide to get some new shocks, which brands would you guys recommend? Can I still have two people in the back with lowered shocks? Ideally I'd like to go lower all round but still keep the car practical, is that possible?

I might not even need to change my shocks, I'll take the knocking one out and give it a proper looking over once the fuel tank is low.

Yes, Adjustable Konis came as standard on most Sportspacks. One of mine appears to be making a clonking noise so it be a good time to change over to lowered shocks.
