today i got myself a daily driver...

the plan for rowan(crashed one) is a de-bumpered flip front and a 1330 engine transplant :proud:

will update as and when this happens, but hopefully have it done by march time :proud:

in the process of a write off... the assesor said cat C but its not been put down formally yet :proud:

yehh i have 2 now lol...

the new one is to get me to work and back untill rowan(crashed one) is fixed :proud:

New engine

1275 MG Metro -rebored to 1330cc aka 60thou.
Complete rebuild costing over £600.

MG metro head
1275 +60 pistons
Kent 286 Megadyne Cam
Superflow Turbo Oil pump
Duxplex Timing gears
Polished crank
Centre main strap
4 speed gearbox

Complete rebuild using new pistons, big end bearings, crank bearings, thrust washers, engine mounts, gaskets, thermostat, hoses, oil and filters, seals, clutch etc

Runs on a HIF44 carb, with a stage 2 LCB manifold, ally inlet etc.

rowan is booked into te north east restoration club in feb, work will begin first on fitting the new engine and then on a steel flipfront...

yehh they fine untill i turn the wheel :thumbsup:

looks alot better, but i cant be assed with trimming just for different wheels when im only gonna have it another couple month :thumbsup:
