did yours fit nicely without the roof being cut off in the end? im getting really worried about the gap that i had when i tried mine on

Does look good.

there is a gap... but u can line it up so it sits the same all round. i filled it up with sikaflex... dip ur finger in some white spirit and go round it.. finishes it off nice.

My windows turned up this morning... look well professional.. highly recommend Plastics 4 Performance. Top job, top bloke.

Cheers again... It will be like the old one in the sense its black... all the good stuff my old one has been put into this, mainly engine and wheels. everything else is new.

As for cuttin out the metal roof... its no different to puttin a full lenth sunroof in, i have a full cage to put in so it should still be as strong.. if not stronger than standard.

I've used 2 tubes of sikaflex so that roof aint going nowhere!!

Ally doors came from the same guy as the roof, but i think there from The Mini Door Company near Blackpool... but i've seen ally door skins go for about £45 a side.. not sure where tho.

i thought it might be like that the gap on mine was about 10mm i am going to roll the lip down a bit on mine so it sits flush.

Good luck with the DZUS fastners!!!
Just done the front of my bonnet with them, Have patience and make sure that the are tight when fastened up or they will release when you are driving it

Hmmm... i do need them.. havin problems fittin the drivers side of the front to the a-pannel. no gap at top, 1cm gap bottom... needs trimming i think!

Plates from my local motor shop... they didn't like doing them as they thought it was illegal... but the dvla website does state "plates fitted to vehicles manufactured before 1 January 1973 are not required to display the mandatory character font, but the characters must be easy to read"

Hows things with yours? haven't really looked on the other posts.. maybe i should.

When u go mini spares, can u ask them if they know when there expecting front braided brake hoses to come in stock... nowhere has them.

It is coming along now. Guna get me some dzus clip things and order me some A048R tyres.. cheapest ive seen is £70 a corner fitted.
