Brilliant project Mr Jackman!

Are your plans to restore it to it's original glory exterior wise? Got to admire you for taking it on, it'll be a stunner.

Clubman estates are the biz!

The plan is original condition, steel wheels (all be it 12" steels) standard seats. But with hidden gauges and the stonking engine ^_^

Update :)

Ive stripped the bulkhead to bare metal, de-rusted and primed. Took ages but nitromors + grinder with wire brush tool makes it easy to do ;) Took 4 hours to get all the rust i could off. Doesnt look to bad now.

*Edit*

Also forgot to mention i set it alight ::) the split pins for the masters were stuck solid and wouldnt turn around, heated them up after wd didnt work the other day and it went well until the soundproofing lit... EEEK!! FIRE! All safe now tho.

Cylinder head looks familiar! ;D

If I ever have to do any front end metalwork its going to be clubman front as it will give you so much more space than saloon

Stealther the better IMO on the outside just like SC's clubman estate with the big bus steering wheel for the torque steer lol

Sorry missed your reply Udo.

Yeah it should look familiar, you did the work on it :D

*Update*

Nothing really to report, took some of the passenger inner wing off and the front ends going soft so time to get some metal bought for the bracing. Will be intresting how to do the front bracing with no inner wings but ive got a plan :)

*Update*

*Sigh* why is this car rusty in strange places :D

Its started to rust up the door post on the drivers side??? How?? ARGH must have been all the water splashed up due to the holes in the wings :techsupport: Great.

Some pictures anyway, removed most of the inner wings now... just need to get my welder working.

Inner wings partly off.
