I disagree with the statement that they were basically gypsies, and it depends what you mean by gypsies; either those scummy people who drive around in brand new transits stealing metal, or proper traveller gypsies....Haha I watched this too.
"What do you contribute to society?"
"Err, well, God this, errm, God that, <insert religious excuses here which don't answer the question"
Basically they were gypsies!
Their son uses the local school. They use the NHS when they need it. They use the roads! But don't pay anything at all into the system.
A question which arose after the show which I can't answer for myself:
They had a van on the road, how can they pay road tax and petrol money and insurance for it, if they aren't working, and apparently don't claim any benefits?
Do they get all their clothes from ravaging through bins too?
I totally agree with the husband from the other couple - a few people reducing their waste in this country isn't going to help in any way whatsoever the starving people in africa!

And they explained how they afford stuff - donations! If they get food and water for free, its not like there is much else they have to pay for! Tax is going to be a few hundred quid a year, and insurance would probably be less... In fact their expenses probably stretch as far as paying to keep their motorhomes on the road and thats it...
