The auction for that really nice Clubman Estate on Ebay just ended, £2000 with only one bid.
I might send the person a message and see if I can go look at it, as I suspect that one bidder was probably a friend trying to force people to bid more.
Austin Mini Clubman
Guys, need a bit of help with the wording of the email I'm going to send him.
So far I have this.
Hello there.
I was going to bid on the Clubman Estate but I noticed that someone else had already bidded on it and £2000 would have been my highest offer. If the winner of the auction does not come back to you or has changed there mind, I would be very interested in coming to look at the car and possibly make you an offer.
Many thanks.
James
How does that sound?

I wouldn't let him know that 2,000 is your highest offer, omit that part. Because he will try negotiate with you on that or possibly tell you to stick it where the sun dont shine
don't "show your cards" just yet
Right I've taken that out and sent the email. I sure hope the person who bid wasn't a genuine buyer.

you'd be surprised how many sales fall through - you've still got a good chance.

its in, and all hooked up - not running too good though.
We've 2 remaining tasks to do on it and its going back for dyno to sort it out.
hopefully its a simple fix, we think its because the trigger for the ecu has moved and is getting incorrect readings.
how come you only come on here during the night shift? part time vampire ?
