Why don't you just ask them not to put prawns in it Natalie :dozing: They will listen to you!! <_<

Normally share it with my fella so he gets em :mrcool:

Aaaah yes, that old classic Chinese dish ... Chicken satay (which is a Malay/Indonesian dish) with chips (which is American)....

lol yeah because sweet and sour chicken balls is such an authentic chinese dish

:xxx:

I actually had chicken and sweet corn soup, crispy aromatic duck, chicken fried rice (as Neil is fussy!!) and sweet and sour chicken balls the other night with Neil. We couldn't finish it all :withstupid:

But other good options:
- Spring rolls
- Beef with mushrooms in oyster sauce
- Chilli Beef ( :D good on all of you who've said that already!)
- Garlic Spare Ribs (if your local chinese TA / mother does them that is, if not gutted!! :withstupid: )
- Won Ton Soup (especially if they give you real won tons with it!)
- Fried Dumplings (now that is actually real chinese food, make sure they give you some vinegar...not just normal vinegar, can't remember the english name :mrcool: )
- Beef with green peppers and black bean sauce
- Satay chicken on skewers (sauce to the side or no sauce, yum, just YUM!)
- Chicken szechuan style (like sweet and sour chicken hong kong style but a bit spicy)

True, true.

Not a bit fan of Szechuan-style food, but loooove won ton soup! Also like obscure stuff.. liek pickled veg.

My personal all-time favourite - proper, freshly steamed dim-sum :xxx:

Chicken and cashew nuts
Scallops with ginger and garlic
Kung po king prawn
Shredded aromatic duck with pancakes
Chilli beef
Chicken and sweetcorn soup
Hot and sour soup
Sweet n sour pork balls
Beef with green pepper and black bean sauce

amongst others! I adore it all :D :mrcool:

Half the stuff i get at my local isn't on the menu!!!!!
they do a Szechuan-style crispy chicken with cashews which is to die for!!!! I do all their plumbing and heating and they test new dishes on me. :mrcool: we had chicken balls with garlic and chilli dressing the other day!!! Wicked!!! :D Sweet and sour pork hong kong style is an old favourite of mine though.

Oh my lordy I'm hungry too!

Chicken in satay sauce, crispy beef in peking sauce, crispy won tons and recently introduced chicken foo yung. Not all at the same time and if shared with nice company even better :D
