Strange, I have the accessory book of about the same vintage (same part number) and they aren't in it. It must have been only during the last few months that they were available, when Rover were trying to shift all their left overs!

aha, i was trying to find a pic of this but it seems i only have it on video :D

this is NOT an original cooper car co van, and if i remember correctly (from the museum data sheet) cooper never used Mini vans.

this is actually a "what it would of looked like car" created by the people who restored the van

still very cool and nice to see :w00t:

i thought it would be one of those, i had never found anything on it previously. its wasnt in any other photos i had.

:D

still pretty cool though

edit: just had a look through my collection (most likely small by your standards!) of photos and i havent found anymore like the ones you want, but i did find some interesting ones of AJB 66B with a single white stripe on the bootlid on the OS, and two white stripes, like the coopers are known for. :w00t:

That was so they could tell the difference between the cars on the track/circuit.

Usually seen more on Rally cars... nowadays, the touring car teams usually have cars with different coloured sun strips! lol

the best books i have are called "Monte Carlo the mini legend" available from British motor heritage and a book that's simply called "mini" by Rob Golding but that's a very old book.

the best DVD to get is "the mini cooper" DVD, again its a heritage production and is available from mini spares i think, this is definitely worth getting.

i keep dribbling over the "anatomy of a works car" book (or something like that) but there always something else i have to spend my money on :D
