The bolts which are in the pictures are only temp ones just so the cage was held down so we got the plates for the floor in the right place.I am going to be using stainless ones when the cage goes back in with the bolt head sat on the underside. Are you going to crop the roll cage bolts off so they're flush with the top of the nuts once you refit it? - you've got nice smooth lines everywhere else.

Basically ive been rubbing down all the floor inside the car, the rear bins, the door post the front bulkhead and the dash rails. Ive had to apply some filler to the floor so, as like the underneath, to make it look nice and smooth and like no work has been done to the car so basically making the car look flawless.

The passenger side door fitted to check all the panel gaps are still correct

The sanded down floor looking rather clean with a couple of small sections of filler to smooth it back out where repairs have been made.
Its my night off tomorrow night (think im gonna catch up with some sleep) so the next update will be friday or saturday.
My dad is going to collect my wheels on saturday all being well so will have a picture of them.

I then did the same within the boot, flatted it all down for a perfect finish.Once everything was all nice and tidy i then began to apply stone chip all inside the car on the floors, on the back seat, the box section and inside the rear pockets rear parcel shelf and all inside the boot.

The repaired box section seat mount

Starting to apply stone chip to the floor
#The finished floor looking all nice and smooooooth

Nice clean and tidy boot now

4 cans of stone chip later we are done....

The doors and the bootlid were test fitted and the door shut lines were modified for a nice gap all the way around.

Applying filler to smooth any slight imperfections in the bodywork

Getting a nice even level line across the door gaps, door gaps were then cut back in afterwards.

The front scuttle after welding and filling the wiper blanks.

Welded up front seams and then filled smooth
The roll cage was finished flatting with 320's and where a front bar had been welded on and looked like poo was cut back off and filled smooth again to what it should look like.
Once all the car was flatted back once it had been filled, the car was completly cleaned out inside and out and then we have applied 4 litres of high build primer on the shell on the inside outside and underside and thats where we left it tonight to cure over night.

Shell looking one step further in hugh build primer

Nice smoooth bodywork

Just look how clean it is at the minute....

The interior in high build primer
The plan for tomorrow is to get it all or at least make a very good start on getting it all flatted back down nice and smooth and sort out any slight imperfections still in the bodywork ready for recieving paint on tuesdays evening or wedsnesday.
Let me all know what you think of it
