I still aint seen the paint yet as i was busy working on car when my dad and mate went paint shop so i am really excited for tues/weds when we paint it

looks good but some people will notice you have filled the front because theres no panel lines
other than that top work
Well thats is very true but some people will also noticed (if they get underneth that is) that all the front floor pans have been seam welded to the bulkhead panels and that the floor jacking plates have been removed and replaced with thicker steal and seam welded all round and....i could go on, nothing on this car is going to be standard, at the end of the day this car is being built to last and i want it too be practical for everyday use and withstand what can be thrown at it from the road of england and where ever else i might travel.
The main reason behind welding and then filling the panel lines (Only on the front end) was to add strength as ive had cars come apart there before and with everything being solid mounted it needs to withstand the bumps and shakes of the car and then the bhp its going to have later on next year. Another reason why the front wings have been seam welded to the front end and plates put over the shocker mounts to stop them from cracking
Best of luck John hope you manage to pass the MOT need to see you in your mini so its more easy to spot you than in a great big van

Well the plan is for the start of next year to make a 1380 all singing and dancing and that way i can say ive done everything on the car as i will be doing the block work and build the engine myself seen as ive been taught how to now at work

You might even see me going through Rochdale sometime as i go down that way for my mini club meetings and convoy nights
