Managed to drive 30miles to the rolling road meet yesterday with the locking wheel nut key still attached, was amazed it was still there

Seen somone buy some chips, walk out to their car, put their child in the back and fasten them in, placing the chips on the roof then drive off Didn't see how far they got though as they drove out of site

I drove 15 mile roughly with the fuse cover sitting on the air filter! Opened up the bonnet and there it was, sitting there!

Last year in Newquay I thought I had lost my glasses. I used my spare to drive when we went for a meal at Mawgan Porth. When we got back, one of our friends remembered that I had taken them off when checking something under the bonnet. I then remembered that I had taken them off and put them on the air filter. We found them at the back of the engine bay trapped by some wiring.

Almost once every week, a friend of mine would put his drink on the roof of his car. Luckly he never opened the drink beforehand, as far as I remember.

I once discovered, after countless miles, that the bloke at the garage who last adjusted my tracking, had left his mole grips on the steering rack! Not a bad pair either

And, yes, I've done the roof thing too! With a couple of the kids dirty nappies I'd meant to put them in the wheelie bin at the bottom of the drive but just forgot. They lasted until the first corner where I saw a bloke waving frantically at me, and in the wing mirror, a couple of white objects flying off the top of the car .

Doesn't match up to the greatness of a spanner, but i have a rivet sitting in the roof trim and thats been there from the day i got voo

Guess thats cheating though as it would be pretty hard for it to come out..
