Now the only bands from that list I know that HAVENT split up are Zebrahead, Lost Prophets, Captain everything, Backwash, and Jesse James. Capdown and Lightyear did get back together to play reading a few years ago but since then, nothing. Sad.
Broadcast To The World, love it

Not as good as 'MFZB'. that has some awesome tunes like "Rescue Me" "Runaway" "House is not my home" and of course "hello Tomorrow"
p.s. check out "GOB - Oh Ellin" on youtube, you might remember/like them

and fitting that crush by jimmy eat world should just play on itunes on random
brilliant band
Jimmy Eat World are an awesome band. I cant think of an album which hasnt been good. Clarity, Static Prevail, Bleed American (or Jimmy Eat World after 9/11), Futures, and Chase this light are all awesome.
I wasnt saying the likes of capdown etc were emo, but more to the point of, people listened to what they wanted, not what was "cool" and what was "in".
It was more than likely the same everywhere else but in worcester in the days of the crown, people wore what they wanted, and listened to what they liked NOT what other people wore and what other people liked.
I think it was more about "Skaters" and "greebo's" then, but then a "Greebo" to chavs/pikeie/townies means you listen to heavy music, lots of rock and "roooaaaaaaaarrrr" death metal etc!
Its just extreame stereotyping.

this is why ive got nothing against them. they can be in a big group around a bench in a park or something but unlike chavs they dont attack people, especially not unprovoked and despite their oddities theyre mostly nice and friendly people underneath.
From my limited knowledge aren't Emos the ones that get kicked to death in playgrounds by said Chav scumbags?

writing large doesnt help!!!
FYI killswitch engage are NOT emo! go figure!
punk people are not scene! they are what they are and what they have been for year....punk...duur
scene are as pie described, verging on clothing style of emo except with more colour and minus the black hair
old (years ago) emo music, is tending to be rebranded as metalcore as tho they sing about same kinda subject as modern emo they have the metal-esk style like bullet for my valentine (especialy there 1st stuff)
the place where i go all the time called "the well" in leam, few years ago when i was 1st 18 and going to town that place was never full and more full of more rock style people...since they had a refurb its all trendy, its actualy light in there and alot of the people are students or emo/scene kids (then theres the propper wierdos who go out there way to not look like a single person in there)
at least theres gals in there now

You tool, as David pointed out, people who listen to punk are "punks" not scene.
Killswitch - metal
Jimmy eat world ARE EMO emo DOES NOT mean emotional metal, it means "Emotiaionl music", and i dont mean about sliting your wrists, or your girlfriend dying.
I KNOW I AM INTO THIS TYPE OF MUSIC.
As i said in my original rant/post, i have been heavily involved with the music scene for the past6/7 years of my life. I have played gigs all over the UK, and i toured with a band soem may have heard of (if your into ska-punk) called "[spunge]". By tour i mean, i have played a full tour as a support act and also been on 3 other tours as a "roadie/mate".
RogG295 - I know, Northampton was a good place to play, i played about 3 gigs there, cant remember where it was off the top of my head, ill have a look later i have the ticket and bill poster.
