Is there anywhere that people from the W.mids would like to meet to convoy down there? Me, Giz, Nat, Wayne and Kate will be going down for camping etc, but we thought it'd be cool to meet somewhere and then do the treck in a group

Retro id love to join up and trek down with you.

(also may be helpful to have people around as this will be the first outing for Delilah since her rebuild and im sure the furthest she has gone in 12 years but thats another matter)

I ordered my tickets, just ordered the wrong ones, i picked friday instead of the whole weekend
had to ring them up and get them changed but its all good now.

What would be the best way to go from Reading, all i can see is the big road called the M4 and the M25, but im not sure whether they can be trusted. gunna be leaving about half 10.

Wow, you're giving yourself a lot of time to get there!! The gates don't open until 4 and it should only take you a couple of hours to get there really

You could go down the A329, join the M3 and then join the M25? Cuts out the M4 and some of the M25. M25 shouldn't be too congested on a weekday before 4pm, though it's been a nightmare at the weekends for the past month or so

If you've got sat nav, you could always ask it to cut out all motorways and see how that pans out for you

Joe thats awesome news shame i got Delilah back on the road though else i would have come and sat next to you so you could drive down.

Dont worry about carpets mate mine has no interior at all apart from 2 seats, dash and a steering wheel.

Doh it has just dawned on me that this is gonna be the loudest, most uncomfortable, rattly few hours ever!!

Oh it'll be worth it im sure

mines in that state, if you see someone with a thier stereo turned up far to loud in a sparkly black mini with a body kit thats me to drown out the engine.
