Have to say after seven years of SMD for us, that was the most disappointing!
Can't really say why, might just have been the weather! Saturday afternoon drinking wine with MMJ and MrsMMJ plus Sam & Jodie and friend in the sunshine was the highlight and I was a little discombobulated to discover our usual Sunday afternoon stroll round the animals was now going to cost extra on top of the weekend fee which I thought was tight. Spoke to the guy from SMOC who was doing the MCing, it's all the new Hop Farm management's fault...getting greedy..apparently they want £45 next year...each....!!!
Time to move elsewhere I think where there is room to camp, decent and plentiful toilets, cheaper drinks in the bar and slightly less aggressive door staff!

Have to say, I agree with Jake - there were no portaloos in the camping field which meant a massive trek (till everyone had gone to bed ) and the layout was pretty poor. Its a shame, but I think it really does need to move now.
